Since the 1st of October 2007 it has been necessary to show entitlement under the V.C.R. Act 2006 when purchasing realistic imitation firearms.
Airsoft skirmishers have a defence that allows them to buy, but retailers need to satisfy themselves that the defence does indeed apply.
One way to do this is to become a member of a site that holds third party insurance for the purposes of skirmishing. The Fort is one such site.
Membership will be granted after a minimum period of 2 months during which the player is required to play at least three full days.
Membership currently costs £10.00 per annum payable upon receipt of your membership card. Junior memberships are also available.
You can download an application by clicking on the link below - print this off & get it signed by a member of The Fort staff every time you attend. Once you have three signatures, hand it in at either the site or the shop and we'll do the rest!
